Our history

We are the leading Music Publisher Pioneer and Alliance in Indonesia that was founded in 1997 with more than 75% coverage of Domestic Music Consumption represented by all of our members, which is more than 37 and still counting, consisting of Big Music Publishing Companies or Music Publishers in Indonesia.

Founded on November 14, 1997, first known as the Association of Indonesian Music Publishers (APMINDO) and this non-profit organization since 2020 has changed its name to the Alliance of Indonesian Music Publishers (APMINDO).

Our goals are :

To provide socialization & a better understanding of the Copyright value of a Song & Music Copyright, encourage the compliance of music industry players in fighting copyright infringement and provide opportunities for the role of Music Publishers to be better understood by the public and music users.
As a representative of the Publisher in Indonesia, our mission is to bridge the collaboration between Music Users and our members in managing Song & or Music Copyright Licenses.
To become a forum for Indonesian music publishers in responding to the developments and challenges of the music industry in Indonesia.
Become a communication facilitator between music publishers.
